EEE Program

EEE Joint Venture2The Electronic Education Equipment (EEE) Program is a joint venture of Blackfoot, Energy Partners and Missoula Electric Cooperative and remains focused on providing opportunities for our participating schools to receive technology for the classroom.

The EEE Program has helped bring current technology to rural classrooms since 1989. In 2014, the program celebrated 25 years and over that time more than $500,000 worth of electronic equipment has been donated to 70+ schools across Western Montana, including iPads, SmartBoard equipment and more.

If you have any questions about the EEE Program, please contact Marilee at Blackfoot, 541-5111 or or Vickie at MEC, 541-6320 or

2016 Application

We’re making it easier for your school to apply for grant monies by utilizing an online application. You may submit ONE application per school division (i.e. elementary, middle and high school). To be eligible, you must submit your application by October 14, 2016.

Complete the 2016 EEE Online Application >

The program requirements are simple:

  • Your public school must be within the service area of Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative, Energy Partners or Missoula Electric Cooperative in Western Montana.
  • You must complete an online application for each school division (i.e., elementary, middle and high school).
  • You must provide a description of how your school will use the monies to fulfill a classroom technology need. Based on participant feedback, the EEE Program now distributes all award monies to schools via gift card. Please indicate the type of gift card for your award on the application.

A committee comprised of representatives from the three sponsoring Cooperatives will review each request and the winning schools will be notified and invited to our Annual EEE Awards Luncheon.
